Tuesdays (Zoom, UK time)
6 January - 10 February 2026
Group 1: 10.00 am-12.00 noon
Group 2: 6.30-8.30 pm
Exploring air, water, earth and fire as ways into writing short pieces of fiction, memoir and poetry.
If your thinking ever runs something like this…
‘‘I’m curious to see what happens if I try creative writing.’
‘I’d love to do some creative writing but I never seem to find the time.’
‘I sometimes write for myself but that’s about it.’
‘I’d like my writing to be heard by a few trusted others.’
… then one of my Tuesday courses might be somewhere you’ll feel at home.
I'm a published author and a qualified and experienced Creative Writing for Wellbeing facilitator. I create a safely-held space where participants have the opportunity to write into a prompt and then share their writing with the group if they wish to. The focus is always on the content of your writing; there’s no literary critique.
Writing the elements is suitable for people new to Creative Writing for Wellbeing as well as more experienced writers. The course will operate within CARE guidelines (Confidentiality, Attention, Respect and Empathy), allowing participants to take creative and emotional risks in a safely-held space. There's no obligation to write in a particular way, nor to share your work if you don't want to. No previous experience is necessary.
Zoom: Min group size 6, max group size 8
Price £110
I offer two concessionary rate places @ £90 on each course on a first-come, first-served basis. Please enquire.
